TaskiLi
The AI-Powered Renovation Marketplace
A SaaS marketplace connecting homeowners with verified renovation professionals, powered by AI matching. A LiNis subsidiary with its own product-led growth motion. Enginex built the complete Foundation phase: product strategy, revenue model, PLG architecture, UX research framework, design system, and validation plan — entirely from zero.

The Situation
What existed when we started.
Before Enginex
—An idea for an AI-powered marketplace — no product definition, no feature set, no technical architecture.
—A clear problem to solve — homeowners cannot find reliable, vetted renovation professionals — but no validated approach to solving it at scale.
—A relationship with LiNis as parent brand — but no product identity, no revenue model, no growth strategy of its own.
—No UX research, no user flows, no design system, no validation framework, no clarity on which side of the marketplace to build first.
The Core Problem
TaskiLi is a two-sided marketplace. It needs both homeowners and verified renovation professionals to function. The classic chicken-and-egg problem. Building the wrong side first wastes the entire early-stage window — and this is where most marketplace products fail before they launch.
Beyond the marketplace challenge, TaskiLi needed to be architected as a product-led growth business from day one — where the product itself drives acquisition. That requires specific structural decisions at Foundation that are nearly impossible to retrofit later.
What Enginex Built
Foundation phase deliverables.
→Product strategy — full definition of the marketplace model, feature prioritization, and two-sided platform sequencing logic
→Revenue model — transaction fee, professional subscription, and featured listings paths with unit economics per model
→PLG architecture — matching intelligence compounds with every transaction, creating compounding competitive advantage
→Supply-side strategy — professional verification system, onboarding framework, and incentive structure
→Validation plan — hypotheses, testing methodology, and measurable success criteria for the launch gate
→AI matching system specification — data model for improving accuracy with every completed project
→UX research framework — interview methodology and empathy mapping for both sides of the marketplace
→Information architecture — complete user flow mapping for homeowners and professionals separately
→Design system — TaskiLi component library, distinct from LiNis but architecturally connected
→Brand identity — logo, color system, and typography signaling technology and intelligence, not just renovation
→Website — taskili.app — live, communicating the marketplace value proposition to both sides
→Onboarding architecture — separate activation flows designed for homeowners and professionals
The Structural Decision
Supply side first. Always.
The most important sequencing decision: build the supply side — verified renovation professionals — before the demand side. A marketplace with homeowners but no professionals is a broken promise. A marketplace with vetted professionals and no homeowners is a sales problem. Sales problems are solvable. Trust problems are not. This decision structured the entire launch phase that followed.
The Growth Model
Intelligence that compounds.
Every transaction makes the matching system smarter. Each completed project generates quality data — professional performance, satisfaction, project type, budget. That data improves matching accuracy. Better matching creates better outcomes. Better outcomes drive more transactions.
01
Homeowner submits project
AI matches to verified professionals based on project type, location, budget, and historical performance.
02
Project completes
Outcomes recorded — quality scores, timelines, budget adherence — feeding back into the matching model.
03
Intelligence compounds
Each cycle improves accuracy. Better matches produce better outcomes. The moat grows with every transaction.

Your Turn
Building a product from zero?
TaskiLi started as an idea for a marketplace. No product definition, no architecture, no growth model. Foundation built all of it before a single line of production code was written.
